Voting Rights

Our Mission

ThroughVotingRights Working Group projects, we seek to empower each individual to be informed, participate in every election and motivate others to do so too.

We support diversity, equity and inclusion, and truth in education, as cornerstones of meaningful participation in the democratic process, and strive at all times to uphold social justice in the voting rights context. 

As part of WWA's nonpartisan mission, VRWG does not engage in campaigning for particular political candidates. 

What We Are Working On

1. Full and fair voting rights for all.
   
   
2. Voter education that empowers voters to uphold our democracy by teaching voters their rights.
   
   
3. Outreach efforts to get more eligible people registered to vote.
   
   

Meeting Time

Held virtually on Zoom, the group does not have a set meeting time.
